There are a couple of new categories coming for 2024 and these will be added in the coming weeks.
Just the act of receiving a nomination for an industry award can have a positive impact on the brand awareness and credibility of your business.
Awards give you and those who are connected with you the recognition for your valuable contribution to the VA industry, your community the wider business network.
Celebrating a nomination or winning a UK VA Award enhances the leadership & inspiration of both the nominee and wider VA community, inspiring others to take action.
In these awards, it is possible to nominate someone else for an award or to self nominate for one of the categories. If you wish to nominate someone else please click the nominate a worthy VA button below and add their details, we will then reach out them and ask them to complete a full application form.
Before you click a button and start entering, I would suggest you read this page fully and choose the appropriate category (checking dates etc) and gather your thoughts.
But if you are a Virtual Assistant and want to self nominate, I appreciate it may feel a little alien nominating yourself but in fairness you know you and your business the best. Nominating yourself does not hinder your progress through the awards and actually demonstrates humility. The forms take about 20 minutes to complete and you will need to currently need to complete in one sitting.
There is the opportunity to upload a pdf with a couple of testimonials on it.

This category is for Lead VAs or VA Agency Owners to nominate a team member. This award is to recognise the value they bring to the team and wants to recognise those that are performing well.
Must be a UK based business.
We are looking for a VA Team that stands out from the crowd, which has grown and developed and performs consistently. This isn't just about the Leader but the whole team and their performance.
Who deserves to be your Business of the year?Must be a UK based business.
This category is where we reward and recognise those have perhaps had to go above and beyond, overcoming and adapting in the face of adversity or perhaps should be recognised for their contribution to the Community.
This category is open to you if you have been trading for less than 18 months on 31 Jul 24 (business start date 1st January 2023 or later). Any type of Virtual Assistant owned business can enter.
Must be a UK based business.
This category is open to you if you have been trading for more than 18 months on 31 Jul 24 Any type of Virtual Assistant owned business can enter.
Must be a UK based business.
This category is open to you if you have been trading for more than 18 months on 31 Jul 24 and are running a small team (5 or less team members, these could be employees or associates).
Must be a UK based business.
This category is open to you if you have been trading for more than 18 months on 31 Jul 24 and are running a larger team (6 or more team members, these could be employees or associates).
Must be a UK based business.
This category is open to you if you have won a previous award at the UKVA Awards (in any category or region) and have continued to deliver an outstanding service to clients and the wider VA community.
Awards open for entry from 29 Feb 24
Awards close for entry on 30 Apr 24.
Best Newcomer Category – business owner must have less than 18 months in business as at 31 Jul 24.
Solo VA – business owner must have been in business over 18 months as at 31 Jul 24.
Outstanding VA – this category is open to those who have previously entered and won a UKVA Award.
Must be a UK based business owner to enter the UKVA Awards 2024.
You will be asked the following questions:
Our finalists for each award category will be contacted to share their thoughts on being a finalist.
Winners will be announced at the UK VA Conference in Oct 2024.
You do not have to attend the Conference to enter but of course we would love you to join us and celebrate your participation in these awards.
