Michelle founded ValueAdd Business Solutions in January 2011 after a 20 year career in Oil & Gas and Professional Services. She has extensive knowledge of new start and growing businesses having worked with a broad spectrum of organisations.

She has an HND in Mathematics and BA in Business Management. Michelle is also a member of Independent Certified Practicing Accountants, a member of Institute of Certified Bookkeepers and a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute.

Developing both her own and her client’s businesses through extensive networking and relationship building, Michelle brings a passion for innovation, creation of new businesses and services development to everything she does, identifying new market opportunities for future growth.

In May 2015 Michelle was announced as one of the latest Women’s Enterprise Scotland (WES) Ambassadors where she shares her life and experience with female entrepreneurs and promotes gender equality in enterprise for women across Scotland.

In March 2018 Michelle was also invited to be an Ambassador for Ideal Schools promoting better bookkeeping across the UK. Ambassadors have a wealth of knowledge & experience and provide advice from selecting the most appropriate bookkeeping course selection through to setting up a bookkeeping practice and growing it.
