Corporate Background
Started working life as a trainee Accountant, however, John’s reputation for visualising simple, practical solutions that were quick and easy to implement became his speciality. Utilising Human Resources and IT applications as the tools to maximise business performance became his signature. 25 years corporate experience in senior executive positions and project management, including the design, development and implementation of business applications and process solutions for Pearson Longman, Avis Rent-A-Car, Pioneer Concrete Group, Bertelsmann AG, Perry Group Plc, and two privately owned SME family businesses respectively operating in the car rental and construction industries. John’s Masters degree in Company Direction (1995 - 1997) focused on IT strategy, with the application of the Internet being identified as providing significant business and process e-engineering opportunities.

Current Business Interests
1999 – date: John founded Exec Express Ltd - trading as exec4 - Consultants and Mentors to Business Leaders - that continues to provide valuable guidance to many subsequently successful young and new enterprises.

2010 – date: Founded – the leading independent, innovative, international directory of Virtual Assistants.

2012 – date: Founded Storm Media and Publishing Ltd, acquiring – a network of more than 12,500 Admin Professionals and the UK VA Conference and UK VA Awards; with the Conference and Award Grand Finals now co-locating with office* show at Olympia, London each year.
