I wasn’t always a VA or a VA Coach, Trainer or Mentor. Prior to running VACT, I was an award winning VA and managed a small team of VAs as part of my Your Executive Secretary Limited (which I sold in 2017). Prior to this, I was a Logistics Officer with the Royal Navy, in which I served for 23 years! After a life changing event in 2008, I re-evaluated life and realised that it was too short – and it was during this time that I thought I’d created a new industry of “pay as you go, ad-hoc admin support”. On researching this “new” innovative business idea, I learnt it had actually been around for about 15 years and had a name – Virtual Assistant – and I hadn’t created the next big entrepreneurial revolution! Having achieved success in my own VA business and having an amazing team to support my clients, I wanted to spend more time training, coaching and mentoring VA’s something I have always enjoyed.

My own core values underpin everything I do; commitment, open and clear communication, honesty, loyalty and integrity, and I apply these attributes, not only to my own business, but to supporting those I am working with. I know how important it is to have a support network, one that can truly help a business blossom and become the company of your dreams. It was therefore lovely and very humbling to be voted “The Best VA Training Provider - 2016” in the Members Voice Awards 2017. Ultimately, I’m passionate about creating exceptional VA’s – and I do this through inspiring, challenging and supporting them (and maybe a little bit of xxx kicking in there too.) I am known for my very honest and direct approach to coaching and mentoring.
