Many say that if a business isn’t growing it is dying.

Our Panel of Award winning VAs and experts will set out their top tips for growing your VA business. The Expert Panel will share some of their own success highlights and explain what it takes to grow your VA business.

Speaker profile:
Rebecca Newenham founded Get Ahead VA in 2010. After a corporate career in buying for retail giants such as Superdrug and Sainsburys, Rebecca was looking for a flexible work solution that could fit around her lifestyle and her three daughters. Having grown up with a successfully self-employed mother, Rebecca knew it was possible to be able to contribute financially to the family and to do school drop off and pick-ups too. Rebecca now runs a team of nearly 40 virtual assistants, each bringing with them diverse skills.

The business has won a variety of awards including Flexible Business of the Year for Mum and Working and has also been shortlisted in awards for Talent Attraction and Networking and was selected as one of the best Home Businesses in the UK. The business is now a virtual agency and launched its franchise model in 2017. Rebecca appreciates that although the business operates virtually clients still need to have the chance to meet face to face so a franchise model enables this expansion across the UK. “We are particularly excited about our franchising model which we launched last year. We have already welcomed Carrie Jones on board as our first franchisee in the Reading Area and Fiona Ibbetson in Leeds and are looking forward to adding more to the team. With the challenges of Brexit ahead, we see more and more companies outsourcing to remain agile, leaving VA businesses such as ourselves and our franchisees perfectly placed to assist.”
