With her accolades in 2016, Gwen became the first VA to win Best Newcomer and VA of the Year in consecutive years, followed up with Outstanding VA Runner-Up 2017, and has now completed the full set of primary awards with UK Outstanding VA 2018. A magnificent set of achievements, and all in under 3 years.

Fiona continues to build her business and has been on a great journey through the UK VA Awards from VA of the Year Regional Runner Up to North East VA the Year 2017 and more recently England's VA of the Year 2017, doubling her number of VA associates during that time.

Heather Greig – VPA-NI, County Down, Northern Ireland

Heather celebrated 10 years as a successful VA business in 2017.

VA of the Year for All-Ireland in 2014, and also Outstanding VA Runner-Up 2014 and 2017.

Heather says, “I have grown in confidence as an Award Winning business owner; established links with International VAs; supported clients in the rest of the UK, Ireland, Belgium, and Spain; seen a 72% increase in web traffic; with an increase in enquiries and clients.”

Heather supports a Facebook Group, ‘VA Connect Northern Ireland’,to help support Virtual Assistants based in Northern Ireland. This offers support to existing VAs and also start-up VAs within the Northern Ireland region and will help them to ‘Share, Support, Engage’.”

Heather is al ways forging new frontiers in her business environment and we expect to see more VAs in the future emerging from this Region with Heather being a leading influencer in their development.

Louisa Stewart – Blue Ninja Business Support - Fife, Scotland

Louisa won Scotland's VA of the Year 2017.

Previously, Finalist in Business Service Awards at the Farm Business Innovation Show, Louisa is a true modern day digital nomad, and someone that is already supporting other VAs, and has recently founded a new VA group for networking in Scotland.

Ruth Dyer – RDVA – Northamptonshire, England

Ruth won UK Best Newcomer VA 2017 and is already an established registered professional in specific admin disciplines - someone who is making significant strides and being successful in quickly expanding her young business.

Ruth has made the most of her local PR opportunities, being a feature on local radio, and has been winning new clients at a phenomenal rate.
