Entry Criteria: 2018 - 2019

    Please e-mail awards@bemyva.com to lodge your nomination or interest to apply. An entry form and additional docs will normally be forwarded within 21 days of category opening date.

    Full Terms and Conditions will apply for all Category, Regional and National variations.

    Organisers must retain the right to amend criteria, terms and conditions etc., without prior notice.

     

    VA of the Year 2018 - Regional and National Awards
    (Recommend more than 15 months in business as at 31st March 2018)
    The leading recognition of professional excellence within the industry. We are looking to find the champions of good practice for Virtual Assistants. The Awards Panel of Judges will be particularly keen to assess the candidates passion for their business and their awareness of vision, purpose and values - and how that is applied to their successful business model.
    Wherever possible, Regional and National Awards will be recognised and presented locally.

    Qualifying criteria (Region + time in business) to apply as at 31st March 2018.

    Closing dates:

    North West Region - 9:00pm, Wednesday, 23rd May 2018 (Regional Final 22nd June 2018)

    Other Regions - 4:00pm, Saturday, 30th June 2018 (Regional Finals from July 2018)

    Announcements and presentation events - timely updates will be issued:

    Various events and venues in local regions wherever possible.

     

    UK Best Newcomer VA 2019 - UK Annual Award only
    (Strictly under 15 months in business as at 31st December 2018)
    This award is intended to support the maintenance of professionalism standards for the Virtual Assistant industry by raising the awareness of what is needed to succeed and build a sustainable business model. The Awards Panel of Judges will assess the entries for their business model and presentation, including: their own previous business experience, CPD, PR and marketing activities, pricing packages, web site, financial and legal awareness and use of appropriate professional documentation.

    Qualifying criteria (Region + time in business) to apply as at 31st December 2018

    Entries Open from 1st October 2018: Deadline for entries Midday, 18th January 2019

    UK VA Conference 2019, Olympia, London 27th February 2019.

  • UK VA Awards Entry Form Review
     

    Assignment of Judges: All candidate entries will be assigned to at least five judges from our Panel of Judges, lead by the Chairperson or a Deputy Chairperson.

    Candidate VA - Judge Communication. Candidate VA communication with Panel of Judges must be directly related to the review process or in response to requests for information about the Entry Form and the business under review. All other communication is prohibited.

    Candidate VA Campaigning. Employees and contracted personnel of the Candidate VA�s business are prohibited from conducting promotional efforts to garner support from any member of the Panel of Judges.

    Professional Conduct: all employees of Candidate VA, contracted representatives of said Candidate VA, and members of the Panel of Judges are expected to conduct themselves according to the highest levels of professionalism, courtesy, respect, and integrity. We will investigate any and all complaints of misconduct on the part of Candidate VAs and/or Judge(s).
