Following a highly successful career with some of the UK’s largest companies, working for Chairman and CEOs and in the UK Parliament, Rosemary Parr founded a Professional Membership Association and Training Academy – Global PA Association & Training Academy – in 2006.
In 10 years Global PA Association has established itself as a leader in the training and development of office professionals. Rosemary now travels extensively to deliver training programmes and motivational talks across the world. In the last 10 years, her work has taken her to the Middle East, Far East and Australia on a regular basis.
The idea of professional development for office professionals was established in 2003 while working as the Executive Assistant to the Chairman of BT, Sir Christopher Bland. The Global PA Association brings together office professionals, including managers, office managers, team managers, executive assistants, personal assistants, secretaries and administrators. As well as providing vital networking and training opportunities, the Global PA Association champions and supports career development and job opportunities.
Rosemary is an Associate Lecturer at Birkbeck, University of London and trained as a coach with the Coaches’ Training Institute and is a CIPD qualified L&D Practitioner. Her CIPD qualification gives her the expertise to evaluate the learning needs of employees and work collaboratively with the HR/L&D function within organisations on upskilling of staff. Her training skills are in great demand due to her unique approach and her ability to empathise and build rapport with her delegates.
